Heavenly Father,

Your word has always pointed us to the coming Hope that was fulfilled through the birth of Jesus Christ. As it has been written  “But the Lord will still give you proof. A virgin is pregnant; she will have a son and will name him Emmanuel. (Isaiah 7:14) Our Hope for deliverance from trials, tribulations, and temptation is here.  You fill us with all joy and peace, as we trust in you. You are the God of hope.  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. So that by the power of the Holy Spirt we may abound in hope.
