Why We Give
Nothing we have is not given to us from our Father in heaven. The reality is he doesn’t need anything from us. He isn’t eagerly awaiting our resources. In truth, he invites us into living the way of Jesus. He invites us into living sacrificially, into generosity, and into witnessing the transformative power of the way of Jesus.

We give because we want the world to know Jesus. We give because we serve a generous God. We give because God first gave through his Son.
When we give God builds something inside of us. It increases our trust in him. It communicates to the world around us that God’s people don’t trust in their money.

Stocks & DAF
Your donations through Donor-Advised Fund are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donor-Advised Funds are a flexible and convenient way for donors to support charitable organizations like ours.

For those who would like to donate appreciated stock, we recommend donating through a donor advised fund. We have a direct relationship with Fidelity Charitable, but any donor advised fund will work. Generosity Liturgy
Every gathering, we corporately pray a Generosity Liturgy that is meant to form our hearts out of this world and into the Kingdom. We invite you to read our Generosity Liturgy.

Heavenly Father, all that we have and all that we are is yours. May we generously, freely, and cheerfully sow what already belongs to you. We pray that you would richly bless the offering before us, that you would continue to build your Kingdom among us.
​
Shape our hearts and guide our hands as you will, that we may seek to live lives marked by radical generosity. Give us clear vision and a sound mind to follow the way of the one who became poor on our behalf.
​
Multiply our meager offerings by the workings of your Spirit, O Lord, for fear the we grow enamored with the fleeting pleasures of this world. Pour down your blessing until there is no more need. We are the work of your hand – we pray that you form us into a more generous people.
​
Above all else, we give because you yourself are the Giver. It is our worship and delight, as your sons and daughters, to walk in your way and witness to the world around us. We pray that you would take this offering and invest it towards your bright and eternal ends. Let all that we do, and all that we give in a life as brief as this, be a glimpse of the greater glories yet to come.

We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Tax Information
All gifts are income tax deductible and are under the direction of Grace City Church. The donor has not received any tangible goods or services for this gift. Grace City Church endeavors to use gifts where suggested. Gifts are solicited with the understanding that Grace City Church has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds.

Giving statements will be sent annually by January 31 for giving in the previous year. They will be sent through Church Center via email if an email address is on record. If an email address is not on record but a mailing address is, statements will be mailed for donors who have given at least one contribution of $300 or more. Donors may access their own giving records at any time through Church Center regardless of giving method.
