This past week we were informed that a married staff couple in our Sunday gathering tested positive for COVID. Upon learning of their positive tests they communicated with everyone who was in close contact with them. Two of our staff who had close contact with them before and after our gathering have also tested positive. All others who had been in close proximity to those who tested positive have produced negative tests late this week. All other staff members and their spouses have produced negative PCR tests as well. Staff households with positive tests are following the CDC quarantine guidelines.
We will still be gathering this Sunday with a few changes. Out of an abundance of caution we will not be serving coffee nor taking communion this Sunday but will resume taking it next week. As always if you are feeling unwell please stay at home. Everyone will also continue to be masked throughout the whole gathering.
Keeping everyone safe is a high priority for our church. We have taken every measure as outlined by the CDC. We hope to see you this Sunday, however we realize some of you may not feel comfortable attending and we understand that.
Thank you for your understanding and if you have any questions feel free to email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
